Our breeding program is dedicated to preserving the P.R.E. Horse in the USA.
This direction is not just based on conformation, but doubt not that this is very important. We also value the movement and the great mind that assures our P.R.E. horse a place in the competitive world of dressage, a most demanding sport.
Andaurora stallions, mares and babies are all participating in the world-renowned valoration process conducted by LGANCCE, the current administrators of the Spanish stud book (Libro Genealogico P.R.E.). All of our horses hold a Carta sanctioned by LGANCCE.
Our breeding program is based on a bay mare herd with strong Military and Escalera lines. With the recent acquisition of the Bay Stallion Gavilan IV (Imported from Spain and Bred by the renowned breeder Pedro Maza) and the young, bay, up and coming stallion Nenufar XIII (Imported from Spain and Bred by the celebrated Catalonian breeder Fernando Pique Llussa – Yeguada Pique Angel) we expect beauty, movement and colour for our future. Our mares/yeguas have had parents who are champions or have personally competed and triumphed in the show ring.
Raul Bucio, the proprietor, discovered the P.R.E. horse during a visit with friends to a prominent Northern California breeder. During that visit he developed a passion that today is fueled by a spectacular group of mares, foals and stallions of the P.R.E. race. His direction is focused on producing an example of the breed that meets and exceeds the breed standards.
The mare herd of Andaurora is deeply influenced by the CA (Camass Andaluz) Heirro (Brand).

“We are profoundly honoured that Sr. Bucio had such faith in our breeding program and particularly the offspring of Gavilan IV. Andaurora's great success in both the show ring and the breeding shed directly reflects the superior mares that he has acquired from us.”
